Immedia Semiconductor, Inc. develops and markets semiconductor based video compression technology for consumer electronics applications. We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Manager. Responsibilities include managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The Product Manager is expected to:

* Define the product strategy and roadmap
* Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
* Work closely with engineering to support the product development process, coordinate schedules, define milestones and deliverables
* Understand and manage a consumer electronic system product composed of a semiconductor chip, embedded firmware, application software and wireless Internet connectivity
* Drive key product activities including system cost optimization, development of 3rd party services, OEM system integration
* Be an expert with respect to the competition
* Perform product demos to customers
* Develop sales tools and collateral
* Support sales activity
* Act as a leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge

* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager or Technical Marketing Manager
* Demonstrated success defining and launching successful products
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor’s degree, EE and/or CS degree preferred
* Technical background, with experience in semiconductor products, embedded hardware systems, embedded firmware, applications software, embedded Internet connectivity
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
